The Cadrete Tower

A webmonolithed as a fortified tower, echoing the castle that watches over the village.

In Cadrete, the local council wanted a structure that would tell its story. We designed a fortified tower, echoing the ancient castle that overlooks the village.

The tower is entirely sculpted in ‘sprayed concrete’ style: stonework, battlements and arrow slits. Inside, a ladder leads to the top. Outside, climbers follow the joints and contours of the masonry, just as they would on a real rampart.
